MyRouteManager
MyRouteManager.com is a fully web-based route delivery and management system that runs on any Android, Windows Mobile and Apple tablet or smart phone. The first of two components is accessed by each driver using a hand-held device. The second is accessed by management to add new customers, routes, products and to perform other functions such as exporting invoices to other accounting packages.
1. Web-Based Connection
MyRouteManager relies on a stable and consistent internet connection. We store data on secure servers, accessible anywhere, at any time. Your drivers can access the website to create orders and change and print them. A manager can access the same site to add and change customers, products, and routes as well as conduct back-end operations. 4G or LTE enabled devices are recommended, as they are optimized to use MyRouteManager effortlessly and effectively. Please note that a web connection is required at all times.
2. Portable
This module can be implemented by most modern handheld device with browsing capabilities, such as modern smartphones. If using tablets, they should be about 7 inches. Larger ones cannot be easily held in one hand.
3. On-site Invoices
Your drivers can create invoices that reflect the day’s deliveries and returns, as well as view previous delivery tickets to estimate your customers’ future needs. Invoices are instantly e-mailed to customers allowing them to print paper copies whenever they need. If the device can read barcodes, your drivers can also scan data from UPCs to save time rather than entering them manually.
4. Accept Signatures
After invoice generation, your customers can sign directly on the device screen with our signature capture. The signatures are saved to the web servers and downloaded to back-end software and can be reprinted at a later time.
5. On-site Wireless Printing
If required by customers, drivers can print invoices on belt-carried printers. We recommend the Zebra RW420 or a similar printer. Please note that not all belt-carried printers are compatible—for example, iOS devices require special printers. If a full-sized (8.5”x11”) invoice is desired, a Bluetooth-enabled, truck-mounted printer can also be used.
6. Real-Time Data Transfer
No data is stored on the device, so there is no need for synchronization between the server and the device. Copies of invoices that are created at a customer site are emailed instantly to the customer and management.
7. Cost to You
An additional benefit to this solution is that it is compatible with a huge range of devices, some which you may already own for personal use. We do charge a per-device fee for the service, though there are no limits to the number of customers served on each route or how long our program can be used without needing an upgrade. For best results, we recommend POMeSYS as your back-end software, although you may choose another solution. However, such software must have communication protocols between it and POMeRoute-Web. For current pricing, please contact us.
8. Backend Software
We provide a back-end software called POMeSYS. Although designed to be used by bakers to manage their businesses, it can be used in other food distribution industries. POMeRoute-Web is compatible with the main modules of POMeSYS. The included modules in POMeSYS create and change information about customers, products, and routes. Orders from customers and drivers are entered and then downloaded to your hand held devices.
